يُعد قسم تطوير البرمجيات أحد الركائز الأساسية في بناء الكفاءات التقنية القادرة على مواكبة التطور السريع في عالم البرمجة وهندسة النظم.
يسعى القسم إلى تخريج طلبة مؤهلين علميًا وعمليًا في مجالات تحليل الأنظمة، وتصميم البرمجيات، وضمان الجودة، وإدارة المشاريع البرمجية، بما يلبي احتياجات سوق العمل المحلي والإقليمي والدولي.
نحرص في القسم على الدمج بين الجانب الأكاديمي والتطبيقي من خلال مشاريع التخرج، والتدريب الميداني، والتعاون مع المؤسسات التقنية، لتزويد الطلبة بمهارات الإبداع والابتكار وريادة الأعمال في المجال الرقمي.
ويسعى القسم باستمرار إلى تحديث الخطة الدراسية للبرنامج بشكل مستمرلمواكبة كل ما هو جديد في مجال هندسة البرمجيات وذلك بالاعتماد على الاتجاهات العالمية والمعايير الدولية الحديثة في مجال التخصص.
يضم قسم تطوير البرمجيات حاليا فريقاً متميزاً من أعضاء هيئة التدريس ذوي الكفاءة العالية والخبرة العملية، كما يعتمد القسم على أحدث المختبرات في تدريس محتوى البرنامج من المساقات العملية.

The Software Development Department is one of the key pillars in building technical competencies capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments in the world of programming and software engineering.
The department strives to graduate students who are academically and practically qualified in systems analysis, software design, quality assurance, and software project management — in alignment with the needs of the local, regional, and international job markets.
We are keen to integrate academic knowledge with practical experience through graduation projects, field training, and collaboration with technology institutions, in order to equip students with creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship skills in the digital field.
The department continuously updates its academic plan to keep pace with the latest global trends and international standards in software engineering and related specializations.
